Kicked most of the dolls out!!!!

Well, as collections grow and things become overwhelming... I had to move most of the girls into the Nancy Drew room. I think living with them 24/7 as being with this injury caused me to become almost "cannot handle AG anymore!" So the choice was move the dolls, or.. sell... So right now most moved to the other room. Not only did they take their bodies, they took most of their items! YES! Finally I got my own AG closet!!!! I feel better moving the girls and the items (Mom helped alot!!! ) And putting my summer clothes in my closet where the girls items used to be. There were some contracts with Mom that my pot and pan and Mikasa plates and bowls ( when I get married) must stay in the closet, so I did not mind that. I am still considering selling 5 of the girls. I know Siobhan and Min are on the list, not sure who else.. maybe Toula.. and 2 more. Someone suggested to rotate them, but I love to see the girls instead of having them packed. I know- shocking! Here are some pics of the girls new area.

That sounds good, and I am one of the few here who would advise you to sell if you really think you want to. The way I look at it, you can use the $$ to buy more things that you love (AG or not).

Ria, don't sell any of your dolls! Listen to Sheila! But if you feel overwhelmed a bit, don't get any new stuff for awhile. Enjoy everything you have.

And especially don't sell Toula-your own twin!

I agree, Ria...if you want to sell some, then you should. I always feel better when I cut my collection back. I need to do that again, myself.

I think I'm going to be selling all but Addy...( she'll never leave here), Samantha and Nellie. I think the rest will go, and I will concentrate on collecting for those three dolls. I really think of my dolls as dolls. I have always been a doll lover, and to think of them as "girls", really takes some fun out of it for me....I'm weird, I know.

But seriously...I hope Doll Protection Services doesn't give you too much trouble!!!! ROTFL!!! [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]

Sell you dolls? Oh..Only if you feel alright with it. Be sure to think about it more before you do anything! OH! & if you do sell your dollies, be sure to put them up here on HB before eBay! That way you know they will go to good doll loving homes!

Sell your dolls!!! I'm shocked. Are you feeling "ok"? All this stuff can become overwhelming, though. Maybe put some away for a while and later you'll want them back out again.
